Job Description

Sonatus, Inc. is a leading provider of software-defined vehicle solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex in-vehicle software systems from requirements to production deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Analyze and enhance system resource efficiency, stability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, including code comments, design specifications, and testing reports.
  • Work with the Technical Project Management team to ensure development schedules align with project schedules.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on embedded systems and automotive communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in C++ and experience with modern IPC frameworks, such as gRPC and protobuf.
  • Experience with RTOS, Embedded Linux, Android, and other embedded operating systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills
  • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Unified Diagnostics Services over CAN or Ethernet.
  • Good understanding of hardware devices, such as MCUs, CPUs, and network switches.
  • Experience with network security and monitoring tools.
  • Proficient in Python or other scripting languages.
