Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Site Technician to join our team at Trucent, Inc. in the Oakville, Ontario area. As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of our customers' metalworking fluid systems, providing troubleshooting support and ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair metalworking fluid systems, including pumps, tanks, and piping.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure system efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good personal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • General mechanical aptitude and basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Customer relations and problem resolution skills.
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter, ability to work independently under general supervision.
  • Perform reading, writing, and speaking at a basic level.
  • Perform basic arithmetic functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems and situations that may occur on the factory floor.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule type form.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including hazard communication, PPE requirements, and attending safety training.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
  • Adhere to all customers' facility safety policies and business ethics.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Training Required
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass security clearance.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check/drug tests.
  • Nexus Card is a plus.
