Bare Bones Fish & Chips Ltd. is seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Load buspans and trays.
  • Place dishes in storage area.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Take customers' orders.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for participating in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, and supporting newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
