Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Medical Director to lead our Learning and Research initiatives at Fraser Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to advance medical research and education within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic medical leadership to collaboratively develop a vision for Fraser Health's Learning and Research programs
  • Co-lead the strategy and ensure the planning, coordination, integration, operation, and evaluation of these programs
  • Enhance the Fraser Health Research Network and partnerships
  • Drive understanding, identification, adoption, and spread of innovation in healthcare services and delivery
  • Support the creation of a new medical school in partnership with Simon Fraser University and First Nations Health Authority
Requirements
  • Eligibility for membership on the Fraser Health Medical Staff
  • Five years of leadership experience within the healthcare sector and experience in hospital-based leadership
  • A master's degree in health administration, nursing, business administration, or equivalent experience
  • Additional leadership training
  • Experience with budgetary and operational planning
