Job Title: Calibration Lab Technician

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Lab Technician to join our team at a leading company of measurement instruments and solutions in Mississauga. This is a temporary position to cover short-term disability, with a possibility of extension.

Job Summary

This is a short-term assignment lasting up to 6 weeks, with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work in a team-oriented environment, with minimal supervision, and will be responsible for cleaning, preparing, and adjusting tools or gauges for calibration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Some knowledge of quality inspection is an asset
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs
  • Clean, prepare, and adjust tools or gauges for calibration
  • Ability to use MS Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in English)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work within a temperature-controlled environment of 20°C
  • Technical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
