Job DescriptionThe SAP Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex SAP and EDI projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing projects, a deep understanding of SAP Business One and EDI transactions, working knowledge of SQL reporting and Crystal Reports, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage SAP and EDI continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure projects meet all requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Procurement and Operations stakeholders, and vendors.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Business One modules and processes.
- Oversee EDI transactions in SAP to ensure proper operation and data accuracy.
- Prepare ad-hoc SQL reports as required.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP and EDI technologies and trends.
- Provide SAP training to internal users as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP Business One implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP Business One Financials, Oracle, Order-to-Cash and Procure-To-Pay processes.
- Working knowledge of SQL reporting and Crystal Reports.
- Familiarity with EDI Transactions.
- Familiarity with IT Costing and Budgeting Project Management, Managed Services, Performance Management, Metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
