Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Provider to join our team at Ge Chen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision
    • Assume full responsibility for the household and children in the absence of parents
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
    • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Education and Development
    • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
    • Help children with homework and support their educational needs
  • Health and Safety
    • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
    • Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Skills and Qualities
    • CPR Certificate
    • First Aid Certificate
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
