About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team at Canadore College. This role involves working with students in various healthcare settings, providing them with valuable learning experiences and helping them develop their skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement educational plans that meet the needs of students and clients
• Collaborate with faculty and other clinicians to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide student learning and development
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to help them improve
• Foster relationships with clinical agencies and communities to secure placement opportunities for students
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to inform teaching and curriculum development
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Master's in Nursing is considered an asset
- Current Registered Nurse registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) required
- Minimum eight (8) years of recent practical experience with a minimum of five (5) years work experience in an acute care setting
- Demonstrated ability to work varying shifts including weekends and statutory holidays
• Experience with Simulations is considered an asset
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated computer literacy
• In-person position, must be able to reliably commute to the agency(ies) site(s)
