Market Access Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Access Strategist to join our team at Lundbeck Canada. This full-time, 1-year contract position is located at our Ville Saint-Laurent head-office.

Key Responsibilities

The Market Access Strategist will develop and implement market access and health economic strategies to support the reimbursement of new and existing products with various public and private payers. This includes developing engagement plans with federal/provincial and private stakeholders aligned with reimbursement objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position or commercial functions in the Canadian pharmaceutical or health care industry; experience in market access would be an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing Budget Impact model(s) and Pharmacoeconomics (an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical reimbursement and pricing environment, policies and trends and experience in obtaining public and/or private reimbursement.
  • Ability to manage internal and external resources to bring complex pricing and reimbursement application projects to fruition.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to formulate and develop strategies that results in action and to collaborate and communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Bilingualism French/English required (frequent communication with Global Headquarters and employees in the rest of Canada).
