We are seeking a skilled Property Valuer to join our team at the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation.
- Key Responsibilities
Collect data through onsite property inspections, critical to formulating accurate property assessment values.
This position requires travel up to 50 percent of the time to conduct field inspections within an assigned geographic area.
Update and retrieve data from various MPAC systems and databases.
Communicate with property owners, tax agents, occupants, tenants, builders, and municipalities across a variety of communication channels. - Requirements
A valid G2 or G Ontario driver's license to travel to various locations.
The ability to effectively collect and handle data in a way that ensures its credibility and integrity.
Able to read and understand legal documents and interpret surveys, subdivision plans, architect and builder plans.
A meticulous eye for detail and aptitude for working with numbers. - Preferred Qualifications
Work-related experience in the real estate or property assessment field.
A certification (or working towards one) with the IMA, AIC, IAAO or RICS or similar industry association.
A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field. - About the Role
