About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Service Supervisor to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our parts inventory, ensuring that all materials and supplies are properly managed and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies, and negotiate prices to optimize inventory costs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train purchasing and inventory clerks to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize inventory control software and other technology to manage inventory levels, track orders, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
