- As a Senior Java Developer at Global Relay, you'll be using leading-edge technologies to build pioneering products that are used by tens of thousands of users globally to solve real-world business problems.
- You'll tackle interesting and engaging problems related to scalability and high availability in big data environments.
- We're continuously pushing the boundaries of Java technology, offering you the chance to learn new technologies and apply your skills across our different projects and application domains.
As a member of our agile development team, you'll design and build enterprise-scale services using Java. You'll write unit tests and integration tests for your code and collaborate with Test to develop test cases.
Other key responsibilities include developing deployment systems for Java-based systems, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with product owners on user story generation and refinement.
You'll also monitor and support the operation of production systems and participate in knowledge-sharing activities with colleagues.
About the Ideal CandidateTo succeed in this role, you'll need a minimum of 10 years of Java development experience. You should have a strong understanding of Java, network protocols, web services technology, multi-threaded programming, and service-oriented architecture.
Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization is an asset, but not required.
