Pizza Maker Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pizza Maker to join our team at Pizzaiolo Gourmet Pizza. As a Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, salads, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas, salads, and desserts to a high standard.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- Manage kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
