Sun-Brite Foods Inc. is seeking a skilled Cannery Worker to join our team in a fast-paced fruit and vegetable processing plant. As a Cannery Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products while working in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
  • Feed and unload processing machines
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Work Environment:

The Cannery Worker will work in a fruit and vegetable processing plant with exposure to odours, hot and cold temperatures, dust, and wet/damp conditions. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail
