About the Role

We're seeking a talented Software Developer I to join our team for a 16-month co-op/internship. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building your skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Innovate and develop on our internal dashboard to meet user needs and collaborate with fellow coworkers.
  • Contribute to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) application development using GitHub, Docker, and OpenShift environments.
  • Create applications using industry-standard development methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
  • Resolve incidents, defects, and problem tickets by finding creative solutions, coding, testing, and debugging a wide variety of systems.
  • Provide deployment support for production systems to ensure their functionality.
  • Ensure systems are optimal and meet quality standards by analyzing and providing creative suggestions to improve services and user experiences.
What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Available to work full-time, 35 hours per week, for the 16-month co-op/internship.
  • Must be returning to school in the fall following the internship.
  • Past internship experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and/or French preferred).
  • Ability and desire to learn/adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Experience in Java is preferred.
  • Experience in SQL, Mongo, or any frontend experience (React, Angular) is considered an asset.
