About the Role

Aecon Concessions is seeking a highly experienced Project Director of Quality Assurance to lead our quality assurance efforts on the Darlington New Nuclear Project. As a key member of our JV Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for establishing standards and expectations for quality assurance and control across all projects within the JV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance and control processes and procedures
  • Manage staffing requirements and resource sharing for the QA and QC department
  • Provide standardized reporting for quality assurance and control functional areas
  • Manage the performance and results of quality personnel on all JV projects
  • Own the quality assurance program and monitoring to ensure appropriate planning, development, documentation, and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years' project experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership/management role
  • Expertise in quality assurance programs and processes
  • Required working knowledge of CSA Standards N286, N285, N299
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, physical science, or related field
  • Certification(s) in quality engineer (CQE), quality auditor (CQA), and/or ISO-9000 auditor
