Reach Child and Youth Development Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services to children and their families. Our Early Intervention program provides services to children from birth until they enter kindergarten, with a focus on supporting speech, language, and communication development. Our team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and therapy assistants, working together to provide holistic care. We believe in the importance of collaboration and community, and we strive to build strong relationships with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

The Role:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will be invaluable in assessing and supporting speech, language, and communication challenges. You will work closely with children, families, and other professionals to develop individualized goals and strategies, and provide direct therapy, parent coaching, and consultative services. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, registration with CSHBC (or eligibility to register), and a valid BC driver's license and access to a vehicle for home visits and community-based services.
