Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the?aq?amnik? Daycare Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and educational activities to engage children aged 1-5 years in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality childcare and plan developmentally and age-appropriate educational activities.
  • Help children complete daily tasks and routines to gain independence and provide constant feedback and communication to build self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with the Daycare Manager to achieve our community's vision and provide quality programs and services.

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification and licence to practice.
  • Doctor's medical clearance letter.
  • Up-to-date immunization record.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar capacity, supervising and working with children.
  • Experience developing learning activities.
  • Previous experience working in a First Nation community.
  • Food Safe certification.
