We are seeking a highly skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team at the Invasive Species Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of web development, particularly with WordPress, and be able to create engaging content that showcases the centre's mission and achievements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with stakeholders to develop digital products that meet their needs.

The position involves creating new website content, editing existing content, and optimizing the centre's websites to improve user experience.

The specialist will also be responsible for supporting event planning, developing plain language digital and print products, and validating communications products through research and analysis.

A strong computer proficiency, experience with Microsoft Office and design/video software, and the ability to adapt quickly to new projects and tasks are essential qualities for this role.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
