Job Title: Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Ampro Electric Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining stationary industrial machinery, as well as performing routine maintenance work on equipment. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical equipment assembly and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts as needed
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work in a variety of environments, including noisy and all-weather conditions
Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments
