About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced URD Foreman to join our team at Volker Stevin Contracting Ltd. in Calgary. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising crews and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of shallow utility construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise crew members and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce OH&S regulations
- Manage equipment and materials to optimize project efficiency
- Lead and mentor team members to foster a positive work environment
- Plan and schedule work tasks to meet quality standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in shallow utility construction, including URD experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel and work out of town as needed
