**Job Summary**

The City of Port Moody is seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our team as Skate Instructors. As a Skate Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching skating lessons and hockey programs to students of all ages and abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Teach skating lessons and hockey programs to students of all ages and abilities
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills
• Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to ensure a positive and safe learning environment
• Be available to instruct throughout the year for various lesson seasons

**Requirements**

• Strong background in figure skating or hockey
• Experience instructing skating lessons or hockey programs with a good understanding of progressions and learn to skate skills
• Experience working with children
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Emergency First Aid and CPR C or equivalent
