Job Summary:

The Truck Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the movement of trucks and trailers, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records of shipments. This is a key role in our operations, and we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery times.
  • Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor traffic and road conditions to optimize routes and reduce delivery times.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dispatching or logistics role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
