Job Title: Test Analyst - Senior

Duration: 10 months (Maximum Extension Term: 12 months)

Location: Edmonton, AB (Hybrid work: Number of days required in office vary weekly throughout the project. Determined by direct supervisor)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst to join our team at Radiant Systems Inc. As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for executing and reviewing testing activities to ensure the quality of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Smoke, Unit, System, Regression, UAT testing of newly developed integrations and interfaces
  • Review, evaluate and provide test input during business requirements and design specifications gathering sessions
  • Identify and communicate testing issues, implement process improvement and issue resolution
  • Support in development and execution of test plans
  • Define the appropriate tests required and any associated test data
  • Gather and manage the test data
  • Evaluate the outcome of each test cycle
  • Identify the most appropriate implementation approach for a given test
  • Implement individual tests
  • Set up and execute the tests
  • Log outcomes and verify test execution
  • Analyze and recover from execution errors
  • Track test results, statistics, metrics and status
  • Attend necessary meetings to review testing inputs/outputs and provide status updates
  • Support project team members in the analysis of issues
  • Support project teams utilizing automated testing tools
  • Support project teams to create knowledge documents and provide training to support teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Math or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solution within SAP BTP
  • Experience and understanding of software quality assurance QA, Testing and Defect lifecycle
  • Experience assisting in reviewing, evaluating and providing test input during business requirements gathering and detailed design specifications
  • Experience developing and delivering training materials
  • Experience in identifying testing issues and implementing improved processes and resolutions
  • Experience maintaining traceability of test cases to requirements
  • Experience preparing or supporting the preparation of test plans and test cases
  • Experience preparing test data, executing tests and verifying results and logging issues
  • Experience testing in both web and mobile environments
  • Experience with data integrity standards
  • Experience with smoke testing, unit testing, system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Experience with user acceptance testing including creation of user acceptance plan, status reporting, and managing assigned tasks
  • Experience working as a Solution (application) Tester in a custom software application development environment
  • Experience working on concurrent projects
  • Experience working with business & AMS representatives to analyze issues reported by (or in) production
  • Experience writing test cases from use cases, non-functional requirements and design documents
  • Experience with migration of SAP Process Orchestration solutions to new S/4 HANA cloud integration platforms
  • Exp working with 3rd party vendors for integration and interfaces
  • Understanding of SAP software and project implementation methodology
Nice to Have
  • Experience in SAP Integration Suite(API Management, EM, Open Connectors, Integration Advisor)
  • Experience with security concepts, designs, and implementations
  • Experience with Selenium load testing
  • Integration Suite experience with configuring standard content for Cloud Solutions (SF, ARIBA, Concur, Fieldglass etc)
  • Strong hands-on experience in developing custom interfaces with BTP Cloud Integration suite
