About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at the Daily Naturopathic Centre Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Assess Clients: Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Perform Massage Techniques: Utilize a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint pain relief to promote relaxation and reduce muscle tension.
  • Communicate Effectively: Provide clients with clear explanations of procedures, associated risks and benefits, and answer any questions they may have.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of treatments administered, including client progress and any changes to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or equivalent certificate or diploma from a 1 to 2-year program
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
