Job Overview

The Government of Canada - Central is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative and Financial Director to lead our financial operations. This role will require exceptional leadership and management skills to oversee the allocation of resources, coordinate regional divisions, and represent the organization in various functions.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an individual with strong organizational abilities to establish objectives, formulate policies, and authorize departmental establishment.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions.
  • This position requires a strategic thinker who can co-ordinate work across regions, divisions, or departments and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • A proven track record of selecting middle managers, directors, or executive staff and delegating authority while creating optimal working conditions is essential.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
