About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at PIU Supply Chain Management. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse and distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods for our products.
  • Schedule Distribution of Goods: Plan and coordinate the delivery of goods to our customers and partners.
  • Schedule Transportation Conveyances: Arrange for the transportation of goods to and from our warehouse and distribution centers.
  • Assemble Containers and Crates: Prepare and pack goods for shipment, ensuring they are properly secured and labeled.
  • Maintain Internal Record-Keeping System: Accurately track and record all shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
  • Route Goods to Appropriate Storage Areas: Ensure that goods are stored in a safe and secure manner, and that inventory levels are accurately tracked.
  • Pack Goods to be Shipped: Prepare goods for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
  • Unpack Goods Received: Receive and inspect goods, ensuring they are in good condition and accurately accounted for.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading of Goods: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
