Job Title: Technical Sales Rep III

About the Role:

The Technical Sales Rep III at Dawn Foods is responsible for supporting our bakery customers' success by leveraging their baking experience and Dawn's manufactured products to ensure customer satisfaction in assigned accounts. This role involves developing and maintaining sales of the company's product range, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining current business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and troubleshoot Dawn products in customer facilities, assisting with the development and implementation of new products and ideas.
  • Collaborate with customer service, Key Account Managers, Market Sales Reps, sales leadership, R&D, and operations to ensure adequate commercial product and service stream to meet sales and profit goals.
  • Manage assigned customer relationships and report activities to the Technical Sales & Service Manager and salesperson for the account.
  • Present new products to customers.
  • Achieve and exceed goals and objectives set with support from Business Development Manager of Technical Sales & Service.
  • Prepare visit reports, weekly planners, sales reports, and project briefs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A Culinary or Pastry Degree is preferred; will accept 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 10 years of baking experience; working with various channels of customers including artisanal, manufacturers, supermarkets, or food service.
  • Strong understanding of baking processes and equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to provide recommendations and suggestions.
  • Ability to build solid working relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Strong knowledge of ingredient functionality.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs.
  • Bilingual French preferred.

Work Environment:

The Technical Sales Rep III will work in a hybrid role, primarily focused in Ontario, with up to 75% travel and 25% overnight travel required. The role will be based out of the Brampton facility.

Compensation:

$80,340 - $120,520 with Bonus potential.
