Are you a customer service professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Coordinator to join our team at Trotman Auto Group.

About the Role:

The Automotive Service Coordinator will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by utilizing both phone and internet strategies. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently assist customers with their service needs, providing a high level of customer service
  • Ascertain automotive problems and services by listening to customer descriptions and communicating with Service Advisors and Technicians
  • Generate service appointments by following the TAG's Retention and Business Development Program
  • Handle all allocated Sales/Service inquiries in a prompt and effective fashion
  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates of all service scheduled with clients
  • Conduct after-service follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate customer feedback and concerns to all appropriate parties and supervisors
  • Assist in all mail-out/email campaigns, including drafting mail-out letters and follow-up calls
  • Remain up-to-date on all manufacturer maintenance schedules, updates, and outstanding recalls

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Appointment Coordinator is preferred but not required
  • A proven track record of success in sales and customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed expectations
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Class 5 or 7 BC driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
