About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on infrastructure development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical infrastructure projects that meet the city's needs, including power distribution systems, transmission lines, and substations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve our infrastructure and services.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification, registered with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance principles, including National Electric Code (NEC) standards.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
