Job Title: Master Craftsman - Woodworking Specialist

Shergill Developments Inc. is seeking an experienced Master Craftsman - Woodworking Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to work on various woodworking projects, including preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience

Compensation:

$45,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and English language proficiency.
