Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team as a Fast Food Team Lead. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and serve food to customers.



Key Responsibilities


  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on daily operations, sales, and other relevant metrics.


Requirements

To be successful as a Fast Food Team Lead at Dairy Queen, you must have:




  • Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with a team to achieve common goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts and issues promptly.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Educational Background: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and/or equivalent experience.


Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy objects occasionally.



Salary and Benefits
