We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Senior Analyst to join our team at the Canadian Institute for Health Information. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and leveraging our pan-Canadian data to support improvements in the healthcare system and ultimately the health of Canadians.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain our relational databases and large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Develop and maintain data and information standards, including methodologies, indicators, and statistics.
- Prepare relevant documentation and provide client support to ensure seamless data access and analysis.
- Assess data quality, produce statistics, and fulfill custom data requests to meet the needs of our stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis and contribute to analytical reports, providing actionable insights to inform healthcare decisions.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, such as Epidemiology, Health Information, Statistics, Social Sciences, or Health/Business Administration.
- Three to five years of experience working with relational databases and large datasets, including data manipulation, maintenance, and presentation.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and statistical software, such as Python, R, or other statistical software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required, with bilingualism being an asset.
