Job Title: Early Childhood Program Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Program Supervisor to join our team at the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Early Childhood Education Program staff, reviewing and verifying staff timesheets, and coordinating staff scheduling and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Early Childhood Education Program staff in their daily duties.
- Review and verify staff timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, support, and on-call staff coordination to ensure seamless program operations.
- Assist childcare staff in planning and implementing activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of children in the program.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe at all times.
- Develop and maintain daily, monthly, and yearly plans to ensure program goals are met.
- Ensure staff follows personnel policy manual, childcare policies, and guidelines.
- Assist the Early Childhood Program Manager with administrative duties and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain current, accurate, and confidential client files.
- Develop monthly and yearly statistics on program participation, costs, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure the Early Childhood Education Program meets health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Attend and participate in workshops, meetings, seminars, and conferences as requested by the Early Childhood Program Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Level 3 Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in managing Early Learning Centers.
- Experience in developing programs for the center is an asset.
- First Aid, CPR, and Safe Food Handler's Certification are assets.
- Ability to communicate and build positive relationships with personnel, parents, and children.
- Patient, caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoys working with children.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Able to provide a satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check, and Driver's Abstract is required upon hire.
