Retail Sales Associate Job Description

At MANITOBA CORP., we are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggest products to customers
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
