Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Jll's Services Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing or replacing parts and components, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, wheel and rim mechanic
  • Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification
  • HVAC Certificate
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Level two apprenticeship training
  • Level three apprenticeship training
  • Level four apprenticeship training
  • Level five apprenticeship training
