Practice Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team at Community Living BC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that supports and services are delivered in ways that are respectful, fair, responsive, and enhance the quality of life outcomes for individuals and families served.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to individuals and families about complaints and service quality issues
- Contribute to improved consumer satisfaction by working with individuals, families, and CLBC staff to resolve issues
- Provide information to the manager on trends in practice to promote improvements in the quality of service provided
- Research best practice methods in other jurisdictions that could be applied at CLBC
- Assist in reviews and issue mediation when regional processes fail to resolve individual or family concerns
- Communicate with external appeal/advocacy bodies to promote effective solutions for individuals and families
- Assist in ensuring that privacy requirements are met and in responding to FOIPPA requests
- Provide practice support to field staff on adult guardianship issues and supported decision-making issues
- Support the Manager, Quality Assurance to promote and ensure high-quality service delivery practices and stakeholder understanding of these practices, by developing policies and internal and external communication materials
- Human Services degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus two years minimum demonstrated experience with social service delivery, preferably in community living
- Experience with social policy development is an asset
- Experience preferred in supported decision-making and the operation of community supports and services, and how they respond to the needs of individuals and families

This position can work out of any of the following CLBC offices: Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Kamloops, Kelowna, Prince George, Nanaimo, or Victoria. The role combines on-site office work with flexibility to work from home within BC.
