Job Type: Full-Time

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Physician to join our team at Eagle Ridge Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital. As a Dermatology Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating skin conditions, and performing various medical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat skin conditions, including skin cancers, acne, and other dermatological disorders
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Provide patient education and counseling on skin health and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License: Provisional
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

The hospital offers medical, surgical, regional rehabilitation, cardiac, and diabetes outpatient programs, as well as 24/7 emergency services with over 53,000 visits annually.
