Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Timothy Troy. As a Domestic Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Household Management: Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent oral and written communication.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, sitting, standing for extended periods, walking.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, basic security clearance, criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, credit check, reference required.
  • Transportation/Travel: Own transportation, willing to travel.
Working Conditions:

The Domestic Housekeeper will work in a non-smoking environment, in the employer's/client's home, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending, crouching, kneeling. The ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is required.
