Craftsmanship Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Craftsmanship Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position with 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the field and be fluent in English.

• Operate high-end woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to precision-cut and shape wood components.
• Utilize hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files, to refine surfaces and edges of wood workpieces.
• Analyze plans, specifications, or drawings to ensure accurate product creation.
• Assemble parts and subassemblies with meticulous attention to detail, reinforcing joints as necessary.
• Sand and finish wooden surfaces, applying veneer, stain, or polish to achieve premium quality.
• Estimate material costs and optimize production efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in woodworking, preferably with machine operation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Competitive salary: CAD $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
