At Mont SUTTON, we're seeking a highly skilled Snowmaker Specialist to join our team. This seasonal position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in nature and are physically active.
About the JobWe're looking for someone who can install, operate, adjust, and move snow guns, while monitoring the quality and quantity of snow produced. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, like adventure, and able to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Install, start, stop, and move snow guns, both manually and with motorized equipment
- E nsure the proper functioning of hydrants
- Start pumps and compressors
- Use a propane flashlight to thaw out certain equipment
- Check the condition of supply lines, hoses, and connections
- Operate ski lifts in the event of freezing rain
- Clean trees and chairs overloaded with manufactured snow
- Perform ongoing snow quality checks
The list of duties is not exhaustive, but it gives you an overview of the tasks that the incumbent will have to perform.

This is a hourly, seasonal position, starting at the beginning of November.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Desired skills and behaviors: be punctual, honest, professional, and responsible; be autonomous in your work; have good physical condition; and be able to work often in a noisy environment, in the cold, and in the dark (use of mining lamp).
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $25-$30 per hour, based on industry standards and the location.
