We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Willowbrae Childcare. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and care of our children. Your responsibilities will include assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will also be responsible for maintaining daycare equipment, preparing snacks, and engaging children in activities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Maintain daycare equipment
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting
