Purchasing Manager Job Description

At Canlob International Co., we are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to optimize resource allocation.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives.
  • Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy.
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve team goals.
  • Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services to ensure value for money.
  • Manage contracts to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
  • Advise senior management on purchasing-related matters to inform business decisions.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
