Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our team at NAIT. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for providing graphic design assistance across a range of digital and print media to support NAIT's strategic marketing and communications plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Design Team Lead to develop and execute production-ready artwork for various campaigns and projects.
  • Assist in resizing and adapting campaign artwork to meet various specs and formats.
  • Develop compelling design treatments that align with project objectives and NAIT's brand guidelines.
  • Prepare final files for print and digital output.
  • Organize and archive design files in our Digital Asset Management platform.
  • Contribute to brainstorming and mood boarding processes to develop innovative design solutions.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) on a Mac platform.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including composition, color theory, and typography.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and navigate competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively share design concepts and rationales with project stakeholders.
  • Comfortable receiving and interpreting design feedback from project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in graphic design, including print and digital design.
  • 1-5 years of experience working in a graphic design role.
  • Degree or diploma in graphic design.
