Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our DevOps team. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.
  • CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT: Collaborate with senior engineers to implement corporate governance and risk management best practices.
  • RESOURCE ESTIMATION AND PROJECT SCHEDULING: Estimate effort and resources required for tasks, participating in planning and scheduling to ensure accurate project timelines.
  • INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE (IaC): Implement IaC using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning of resources.
  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Work closely with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • PROBLEM-SOLVING AND TROUBLESHOOTING: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN: Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on project status, issues, and recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
    • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and security best practices.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to estimate effort accurately and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
    • Good communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to working in a team environment.
