About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our dishroom area, ensuring that all dishes, glassware, and flatware are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware;
  • Load buspans and trays with clean dishes and utensils;
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units;
  • Clear and clean tables, chairs, and other surfaces in the dishroom area;
  • Wash and sanitize hands frequently throughout the shift;
  • Perform general cleaning tasks as needed, such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors;
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset;
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation;
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods;
