About the Job


We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team at SGS Construction and Renovation. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.


Key Responsibilities



  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
  • Mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites

Work Environment


This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights. You will be exposed to noisy and dusty environments. The work site can be fast-paced and physically demanding.


Requirements



  • Education: No degree or certificate required
  • Experience: Will train on the job
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
