Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at SPH TRANSPORT INC. as a Route Delivery Specialist or Transportation Associate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record items received and delivered, as well as trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Navigation and Planning: Utilize maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and ensure efficient delivery.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. We offer a permanent position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
