About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled TIG welder to join our team at Mac-Weld Machining Ltd. As a TIG welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations using the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding operations on a variety of metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.
  • Operate and maintain TIG welding equipment, including torches, power sources, and shielding gas systems.
  • Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other skilled tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) certification
  • Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) (TIG) certification
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) certification
  • MIG certification
