Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications to patients as prescribed by healthcare professionals.Apply aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing, to maintain patient hygiene and prevent infection.Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis.Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control procedures.Monitor patients' nutritional intake and vital signs, reporting any concerns to healthcare staff.Provide health education to patients and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.Deliver nursing services within the scope of practice, based on patient assessment and care planning.Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions.Certifications and LicensesEligibility for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work is required.CPR certification is also necessary.Security and SafetyA criminal record check and immunization records are required.Tuberculosis testing is also necessary.Screening QuestionsAre you available for shift work or on-call shifts?Are you available to start on the advertised date?Are you legally able to work in Canada?Are you willing to relocate for this position?BenefitsThis role includes a competitive salary and benefits package, as per the collective agreement.Night shift premium and pension plan are also offered.Free parking is available on site.
